not sure if it's the author's writing or the translator's shortcoming but the writing feels soulless. The scenes are absolutely cute. The characters even cuter but how the "voice" used for the novel feels robotic and lacked passion. It feels like reading someone's class essay.and it's also very confusing. With how it shifts to third person and then suddenly first person in the exact same sentence. Was this mtl?anyway, like I said, I like the characters. Their interactions are cute and very kilig but the writer focused too much on them that we barely know the world that the characters exists in.while you do get snippets but I feel like this story was written with the intention for it to become a manhwa. Since manhwas don't really need words for you to picture out the world they live in while in writing you must really have to describe to your readers the setting for them to visualize it.it's similar to how authors in webnovels use onomatopeia instead of just telling us what was making the sound.for example, instead of saying "the wind howled", they just say "whooooshhh". Which just confirms to me that they just want to write the manhwa.and this author give me that vibe. So maybe i'll enjoy the manhwa form better than the novel form. Bc honestly, I do like the fl. Her personality is interesting wish she was in a better written story.
