This is a travesty. On one hand, the story telling and writing is great. Detail descriptions and wording make the world alive, it's a bit boring and repetitive sometime, but it is not particularly too verbose to make it a chore to read. But then we get to the school arc... why? We don't need a school arc in this story, we are basically force to go to school after the big world building with ancient gods, dragon relationships, and friend/rival evil god. I want to see more Diadora, Vaje, and the other. The reason why the main character has to go to school can be achieve by other means. It's such a big turn around that it turns me off from reading further.
