A sincere request : Please add angst in the tags.As described in one of the reviews here, its a very typical novel with overused troupe indeed & if you find yourself unable to start this novel or continue it, please do. I do understand it's not everyone's cup of tea but like myself some will still be a little intrigued & would want to know how the story unfolds albeit the negatives. I would rather recommend if anyone wants to start this novel per chance, wait till its completely translated for the peace of your mind. It's FRUSTRATING.ML : The very epitome of King of Lions. Has some trauma. Treats FL with twisted feelings. I don't hate him nor do I like his character. I just wonder if by any miracle all his actions will be redeemable. FL : Kind & naive. Finds herself in the den of the lion. Don't know if I can call her a mary sue because it depends on her character growth. Definitely she & her supposed brother have a mysterious past.Although there are some aspects of both the leads that I dislike, I also feel as though I can understand why they have the attitudes that they do. For now, I'm simply going to put up with it.Spoiler
Their first time where he forcefully took her literally made my BP rise (for real). I just skimmed through it afterwards & honestly did the same when those scenes came again. I get that he's a beast but still, I just couldn't. It's so uncomfortable for me. Also, please be prepared to control your rage when you witness his treatment towards FL or their overall interaction.
I am more inclined towards the third prince but not sure about his character & motives yet.
[collapse]With only 60 chapters in, I can't comprehend much about how I feel about this story or where its headed. Not sure if I am enjoying it yet, but I would like to complete it once its translated in one go.I came across some Korean reviews & I am surprised/shocked because almost all of them were in praise of ML. They liked his character. The only complaint being his attitude towards the FL. So in positive hope of the character growth & the K-reviews, I am willing to give this story a benefit of the doubt.1 star for the 60 chapters, 2 in the hope of better story development & an extra star for the translation efforts. I'll re-review again in the future after I complete the novel or if I am able to.
