A light-hearted read, highly recommend if you play tower-based MOBA games (personally I play League of Legends, and it's fun to make connections between the story and actual champions I play) A list of Pros and Cons:
- Pro: The story is well-paced and doesn't drag game mechanics for chapters on end. They give enough description so you understand the game and what's happening, but quickly move on to add to the story.
- Con: The author breezes through conflicts by having the MC be a bit of a Gary Stu skills-wise, though it can be explained by his past-life experience. There isn't much tension in the plot due to MC smurfing on poor unsuspecting players (it reads kind of like a slice-of-life, but pro-gamer edition, which I personally don't mind)
- Pro: All characters are pretty great; the main characters are likeable and the side characters are also interesting and well thought-out
- Pro: The main couple is adorable and makes me root for them a lot, I have a thing for power couples with good synergy
