Im not going to rate it as I haven’t finished it but it’s a very good story so far. The romance is not the focus, they do have a good understanding of each other and a 100% compatibility. It’s almost fate how they were connected. I do wish that was developed a bit more but other than Captain Chi feeling blushy over biting brother Ye’s glands. It’s a little funny seeing an inexperienced alpha with a bold “clueless in A/B/O” omega. I love that sort of dynamic in CNovels. This book is very game mechanics heavy. I’ve read esport/gamer type stories but this was too heavy on the mechanics. So it can be a little boring, I think for now I’ll be taking a break. I don’t really play those games so I don’t think what I’m picturing is matching with what is actually happening.
