Since I am rooting for Izumi and Hikaru to be a couple at the end I guess I am happy that Ayase refused the love letter, however I kind of wish he would have turned her down himself, it seems at this point now the series will drag with the love triangle a bit longer due to her still thinking she has a shot. Although she also seemed to kind of show signs of having feelings for Izumi in this chapter.
