Pretty decent. It doesn't take too long for the MC to become strong enough to make some big waves, but he's still far from strong enough to be fearless, forcing him to be careful about who knows what. The idea of an MC hiding their abilities is quite honestly overused, but in this case it's less about justifying people talking sh*t about him and instead more about intrigue and politics, with this being a world of ninjas and all with people like Danzo, Orochimaru, and Obito doing their thing. The butterfly effect gets plenty of use and we generally get to see why things diverged the way they did. That combined with the MC being reincarnated and the plot starting well before the canon character/plot means that this avoids a lot of the railroading I've seen some Naruto OC/SI stories do.
