So, if you ever write a book where the characters get married in the first chapters, don’t make up wait 251 chapters to see any real development in their relationship.

i don’t remember laughing about anything in this book but I do remember enjoying earlier chapters. But they didn’t grip me.

like, I have books that I read 4 years ago and the author hasn’t updated but I’m still waiting on them and I literally know all the characters.

for this one, I came back after a while and whenever they mentioned an event that happened or a character, I first read for 5 minutes before I recall who they are talking about. And that is also because the author mentions who the person is most times.
