So, if you ever write a book where the characters get married in the first chapters, don’t make up wait 251 chapters to see any real development in their relationship.i don’t remember laughing about anything in this book but I do remember enjoying earlier chapters. But they didn’t grip me.like, I have books that I read 4 years ago and the author hasn’t updated but I’m still waiting on them and I literally know all the characters.for this one, I came back after a while and whenever they mentioned an event that happened or a character, I first read for 5 minutes before I recall who they are talking about. And that is also because the author mentions who the person is most times.as you move further past 100 into 200 chapters, the story’s gripping factor just flys off like a ghost during an exorcism.you can imagine, theSpoiler
demon lord has arrived and he has red eyes. And all the mysteries of the book are being unveiled. Even the apocalypse arrived earlier when the MC and ML are not together but damn!!
[collapse]but I’m not gripped at all.i think what kills it for me is how the author is so deliberate about hiding some things. Like when the ML and mcSpoilerDiscussed about finally having a baby, she carefully omitted the ml’s words so that we don’t know what he says but we see mc’s excited expression. And I’m like
[collapse]it’s as obvious as a farts. Why are you hiding it like that.but overall. It’s an okay story. I’ll simply wait for the translation to finish the book. And if the translators forget about it then I forget about it
