Every Day I Hope That My Yandare Brother Loses His Memory Chapter 14 Discussion

Just started but so far it's fine. The TL is fine but there's some mix ups sometimes.

Trying to briefly describe the context:

There's the Jing Kingdom (the kingdom the characters are in) and the Song Kingdom (a foreign kingdom). (Note: MTL sometimes calls it Beijing or Jingguo instead of Jing)

Jing has the Emperor and Empress, Dowager Empress, Princess (sibling of Emperor), and princes and princesses.

Song has the Emperor, the Emperor's dead eldest di (legitimate) son (aka Prince), and unknown amount of relatives.

ML is the eldest di son of the Princess (Jing) and the dead Prince (Song). He grew up in Song Kingdom but visited briefly when he was 5 and 10, and now came back again at 20 (?). He's a weirdo who acts nice to the MC when it's just them, but is cold and apathetic when in public. He also seems to love bullying the MC.

MC is the adopted daughter of the Princess (Jing). Princess can be somewhat lackluster about her, but the Empress Dowager, Empress, and other prince/sses seem to like her. She's timid and well-mannered but can be hotheaded and becomes reckless when she loses her temper.

When ML was 10 and MC was 5, there was an incident where ML bullied MC who retaliated by biting him. Because of that, she pretends not to remember him and is always wishing for him to lose his memories (that's where the title is from).

So far, I think it feels a little unrealistic how the the prince/sses are just openly interacting with normal ppl, and the character relationships get sort of confusing, but otherwise it's interesting. I wanna keep pushing thru the MTL because I wanna know wtf is going on.

I'm not really into the trope of ML bullying MC, so I don't like how hot-and-cold ML is to MC (plus it annoys me to see the Princess mom eagerly taking care of the ML and ignoring the MC). However, I think it's really interesting how the ML-MC relationship is more of a classic yandere situation, where ML is genuinely unnerving and weird and I can understand why MC is so scared of him.

The transmigrator is the MC's close cousin/Emperor's daughter. She has apparently been transmigrated since young and has been trying to avoid her fate.
