I came to read the novel after reading the manhwa. And in a nutshell, this is a gem 💎. I haven't yet reached the romance part, but so far, it is the exact kind of romance I like, a sub-plot one. There are other things in the FL's life than just love and whatever she achieves is through her own hard work. In a world where it's bleak, she shows kindness and reforms the lives of people in a way which she herself deserved, even if she didn't receive. And yet she's not bitter but looks for a way to spread the kindness. Of course she has the smarts as well! The ML seems a bit crazy but maybe there's a backstory to it. All in all, I'm glad I read the novel and hope the translator continues her work! ❤️
