This starts off really strong and I really love the FL but it's a downhill slope from the moment she meets the ml. Obviously as the reader I know that the FL is like 4000 years old, but every other character around her is working under the assumption that she's barely legal. The ML is like 30 and every time the author emphasises how young the FL looks I cringe. She's a bit naive because the world has changed since she last saw it but she not s*upid or anything and yet the ML insists on treating her like a fragile little girl who needs him to protect her (mind you, they barely even know each other yet). It's really frustrating seeing her trying to go abouther business and the ML meddling at every turn. I simply couldn't finish it which is really irritating because the premise is good and it was actually heading in a fun direction.
