I love this novels premise and actions scenes. The author is really good at showing the struggles of the MC. One of the complaints of this novel is how the MC didn't believe the letter, but it makes sense since who would actually believe it's a letter from the future?

What I really hate about this novel tho is its characters. Every month, the MC receives a love letter from the future. So it brings forth a new arc with a different heroine each time. Because of this, once the arc is resolved, the heroine kinda goes to the sidelines for the rest of the novel? Let's take Sepia (our first heroine), after our MC solved her situation, we never see her unless the MC needs her combat power or if we want to make a jealous girl scenes. This is what I don't like, it's that the characters I get attached to lose the chance to shine and be the heroine. They just become NPC's who follow the MC.

WHAT I HATE THE MOST THO IS HOW THE AUTHOR INCORPORATED HIS FETISHES TO THE NOVEL. I MAY BE ACTING EXTREME, BUT THE PLOT DEVELOPMENT IS TOO WEIRD. THE AUTHOR MAKES THE MC SO FEARFUL THAT HE GAINS s*aveS 😭

I'll focus on two main characters for this complaint (Senior Elsie and Senior Delphine). Let's start witb Senior Delphine,

Spoiler

she's a proud noble woman who's the heir to one of the five strongest families in the world. But she lost to Ian, was brutally beaten to the point of death, abd was scared of him so much that she's willing to do anything. After some plot happened, she finally accepted Ian as her true master due to "backstory", him promising her to win, and hik shattering her pride.

[collapse]

This plot development is just something I don't like, and I'll quote a line from the novel that made me uncomfortable (not word for word). "If you tell me to lick your shoes, I'll do so. If you tell me to bark, I'll bark. I'll even strip if you order me too."

Girl, aren't you a proud noble πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈIt seems like the author tries to justify it well but it always falls short as the development seems unnatural. Oh yeah, did I mention she's a masochist due to "backstory" 😁

And my next example, Senior Elsie. She also is from a prestigious family and got brutally beaten by MC. Then plot happened, she became his s*ave (you know the rest)

Here's her quote "Please don't leave me master. Do you want me to bark. Woof woof".

Tbh, I think the author has a dog fetish. Theres too much barking. It just makes me sad to see such unique and strong characters be reduced to such a state.

Still, the plot is uniue, and I love the action scenes. So three stars.
