Alright. I'll be honest, this novel caught me off guard. I expected it to be the usual regressor power fantasy where he just smacks his schmuck around to to victory.Although it still has similar tropes to it the way the story so far has been refreshingly different. I greatly like the fact that he doesn't get randomly overpowered out of nowhere but on life and death situations, it gives you a sense of growth and 'struggle' that we don't see very often these days. The actions scenes are very fleshed out and greatly explained that I could basically imagine the whole fight in my head. Some users complained about the sudden POV changes that are affecting their 'immersion' but I honestly haven't noticed it at all until I specifically saw it mentioned for the first time so it doesn't affect me.As for the characters I got a few words.Okay, first of all personality of the MC is typical of most novels. The dense but honest kind guy. Though he truly shines during some of the key moments that I won't spoil in this review. I'll just say that when the hatchet is out you know they're about to find out.Heroines, I'll focus on only the first two (Seria, Celine) Seria is your 'Cold but secretly just socially awkward' type, but given her backstory and the way she was treated by other students it made sense, unlike other stories where it's just inserted without cause or reason. also some yandere vibesFinally, Celine.Okay hear me out but I can't stand this woman for the life of me. She's contradictory and downright awful. It's as if she was just inserted as a childhood friend for the sake of it. She wanted to revive her fallen noble house but focuses on mundane and ridiculous things. Especially during her Spoiler
Catfight with Seria
[collapse] sure it was because of misunderstandings but the way she initiated the whole ordeal is bad. Conclusion: There's lots more I want to say like side characters and the remaining heroines but I feel like I don't know much about them enough to say.Overall I wholeheartedly recommend this for everyone to at least try it out because most would surely won't regret.
