I am the type to be swayyed by reviews and ratings, so I always look for this type of novel from other people's reading list. I have to say, in Novel Updates, you really cannot trust the rating itself. You really have to go and read the story itself despite the ratings and the reviews. Then, you can judge whether it's good or not. And this novel to me, it's good.The ML grovel & even faced consequences of his past action. MC did relent but that doesn't mean he's easy to ML. ML is owning up to his mistakes. And yes, there are r*pe scenes but you can scroll it away. I just skip the r*pe scenes.So, up to you whether you want to read or not.
