Heads up, Kasser is my absolute favorite ML in a novel of all time, so I'm biased as all heck. He's my type of fantasy guy. Not everyone will have him as a top one, though, so take my biased review with a grain of salt, lol.

This novel has the same writer as Lucia, so the sm&t sizzles as you'd all expect.

Outside of that, you have a FL that has no plans of ending up like the original villainess FL and she plays the amnesia card to explain the 180 in her personality. She has the good luck to end up in a body of a gorgeous queen. ML warms up to her because only the personality of the original FL was a turn off. When they start sizzling, they just keep sizzling.

ML is a good king, has powers, has a bad ass pet, has a mild personality most days, generally kind hearted and fair, and a God in bed. It's mostly this specific combo that makes him my number one. I like guys chill, but firm, with a dash of naughty. Plus he has a pet, and Abu is adorable. Hehehehe

The couple don't have any true conflict that threatens the relationship. They keep a few secrets, and are understanding when they're revealed. They get attached to each other, and the relationship slowly gets stronger.

The big baddie is some head priest. I skip his chapters because you find out early on he's just using the anikas for some nefarious reason I don't care to learn.

As for the translations, Keopi is wonderful. Zero complaints, honestly. 9.5/10. The 0.5 for the rare, odd mistakes, which to be fair, who doesn't make mistakes? And we're getting this free.
