I just cannot keep going on this right now. It's a very interesting idea but the repetitive philosophy is dragging it down. These dialogs are often very confusing as it is difficult to tell who is speaking when translated. It's a bit refreshing to read a light novel from the perspective of a rational, mature adult who has thought about the consequences of introducing his cheat-like abilities into a reality where everyone is incredibly far behind. It's also nice to see the MC take a supporting role. It allows some of the other characters to seem more than a fan club to the MC's brilliance. The MC often fails to remain neutral and keeps interfering, despite his desire for a peaceful life, to a point that would break the balance of power but his reasons and the way he does it feel natural. Unfortunately to get to the actual story you have to read long dialogs of characters berating those perpetuating the current dysfunctional educational and political systems. I don't mind the occasional political discourse but the repetition is very annoying.Someone who has combat experience knows more than those who don't... WE GET IT ALREADY.Magicians who lust for power and then ab*se that power are terrible people... WE GET IT ALREADY.Conclusion - Very refreshing story in a genre full of overused tropes and clichés, but quickly begins to feel like the author is trying to shove their political viewpoints down your throat.
