Some plot holes & frustrating moments, but overall a good light read that's cute & doesn't drag on for too long.Pure speculation on my part, but it feels like the supposed heroine of the novel just replaced the MC in the original storyline - a healing mage (which are usually only supposed to appear from MC's elf bloodline) that's the treasure of her father & brothers, men who get in the way of the crown prince & her relationship bc they're overprotective. They get together because she saves him & blah blah blah.Still don't know if og heroine is evil or not, but her family definitely is, and they did not deserve to be forgiven by ML. Like seriously, these people conspired to kidnap you, erase your memories, kill your mother & sister, and use you as a battle puppet. You're forgiving it all just for a girl? She's making the pain go away with her magic but isn't her family the source of all your pain? Isn't this just a conspiracy to keep you from getting revenge? And it seems like it worked in the original story because these villains all got pardoned just bc they promised to no longer do illegal things. Like wtf?ML has a curse that makes him forget about precious people to him like the MC, so I guess og story he just forgot everyone except the heroine. That's still pure speculation on my part, but I'm calling it now, and somewhat not looking forward to being right. I hope author can write less stressful cliches. Please.
