Hihi, I'm the translator so I might be a little biased but I really enjoyed this novel and wanted to share it :3 [p.s I can't seem to get the cover image uploaded here :/ anyway click the tl website to see the very pretty cover!]This is essentially sorta like a bl version of The Little Mermaid. The plot revolves around a young mermaid who saves a young prince, and their mutual curiosity towards each other draws them closer. The story spans several years. The first half is cute and innocent and the second part is more angsty. And yes, there is the good ol memory loss trope... but hey, a little bit of cliche angst is good to spice things up every now and then.Spoiler
Luckily it's a HE and the extras are vv fluffy and they also do the snu snu so there's some smut :)))
[collapse]I really liked the MC, he's a very sweet, innocent and earnest person. A cinnamon roll who needs to be protected but unfortunately he has to suffer quite bit before his happy ending... Meanwhile, the ML is also very caring towards MC until he gets hit by truck-kun (jk, not in this novel) and his disposition changes after he loses his memory. But overall, the couple is very sweet and cute and I could understand why they fell in love with each other.This, to me, kinda felt like a fairytale type of love story. It's romance-focused and melodramatic, but not long-winded. I really enjoyed reading this so if you're into these kinda plots, do check it out!
