My Wife Is More Handsome Than Me Chapter 61.1 Discussion

This story is a slice of life with some minor historical and psychological musings as it follows a young official who fell off a cliff chasing a sheep and ending up in the body of a lookalike scholar son of a widow.

The protagonist is very laid back, serious in his responsibilities and, until he met with his fl, was just working towards providing for his family. I would say this is a slow start but it's just slow.

While at chapter 61 there's been several notable events Spoiler

He becomes an official, gains the emperor's favorite adviser as a teacher, and marries the gal

Big fan of the dynamic between the MC and FL as he's like a big old golden retriever all happy just to see her, the story is just kind of a snoozefest. There is some mild, mild, milquetoast drama regarding the Mc's sister and her two (boring and kind of lame) suitors

It's not a terrible story, I'm just bored of it and will move on to something different. Who knows, maybe I'll come back and reread to change my mind
