After reading so many novels I see there is a pattern to most CN novels. One of the patterns is to write about each and every detail about "cultivation" or "tournaments" etc to fill in the details. It works out fine in the beginning because you need details for story building. The author then starts to use it as a crutch and each arc gets longer and longer with each excruciating detail to pad up the arc. You can then randomly skip 10-15 chapters and still follow the story because there is progress. That is the problem with this story. First couple of arcs go by fast and then starts tournaments etc and thing ground to a halt because everything has to be explained.
