I really enjoy this book but I've read it mostly MTL.Up to chapter 52, the story is about a princess in disguised to stand-in as Crown Prince for her twin brother who tragically died too soon at the request of her Empress mother. She has to fight against other heirs to keep her brother's status as well as investigate his death. The ML's role is that of a tyrannical Wang of a different surname (Wang status is typically bestowed to only princes of the current royal line). He acts as the emperor's right hand and executioner.There is a weird issue I have with the Empress mother.Spoiler
1. How long did she expect FL to be the Crown Prince?? 2. She forces FL to entertain the Crown Prince Consort candidate... it doesn't make sense with how fearful she is of FL being exposed, yet believes that her daughter can deceive so many people?
