It's light and fluffy. Easy to read as world is no rocket science. Who wouldn't love palm-sized pet cubs? Well I like it. But one can't please everybody. Other readers that are especially picky in plot realism might dislike it so I will lay down the points and it's up to you to consider whether to read it or not. First, as much as MC is lauded as a genius, his and ML's situation is hard to believe. It's like "genius" became as common as cabbage you can find it anywhere. Also genius does not necessarily equate to fast success. That age is really far too young to be able to immediately build some "Fortune 100" company.., unless aided by his parents. Money, influence and contact that cannot be magically available to a student. Second, that university is sus. And the way the masters going in and out the school using mind alteration and getting out scot-free is a mind-nagging plot hole for me.Regardless, it's still a joy ride with the little Chubby and his furry friends. The whole story reeks of cuteness.A county that has an urban legend about a pet shop. Reminds me of pet shop of horrors and that made me easier to accept the hyper-realistic part and treat this as a light reading.
