Lets start with the good, the depiction of the 80's financial struggles and the characters general thoughts about making money spending habits, capitalism and socialism. There's also the many interesting side characters with their own circumstances and limitations striving to reach for more than what society tells them to accept. Now with the bad: I'm not going to lie, everything goes the protagonist's way, somehow she seems to know everything and she's always right, about the romance... there's none, that wouldn't be necessarily bad if the business making part of the novel was more interesting but everything is so easy for her...Overall an okay novel to pass time
