Professional Villain [Quick Travel] Chapter -- Discussion

First part of the review (before the spoiler) was written after reading only the first arc.

It's a wonderful story, although translation does need some editing.

Let's talk about MC. He's very scheming, merciless and even sadistic. He expertly manipulates people like pawns. At first he even thought that he was above feelings like love, but I can see that he quickly gains interest in yet unknown to him passionate feelings. I wonder how will ML make him change his mind till he shows mercy? It will require huge emotional development. After all, he's a professional villain against protagonists, and their standpoints are different.

MC is not beyond redemption, I presume. He felt sorry for original owner's parents and wanted to avenge them sincerely. But still, most of all, he enjoys playing people like fools. Spoiler

It's more like he haven't developed other sources of enjoyment yet, just yet.

I'll give a high rating, because novel is very interesting.

In the next arcs MC will step by step undergo character development, slowly explore new feelings and unravel the mystery about himself and other natural people.

There's more to this novel than meets the eye at first, later arcs are very novel and interesting, and there's significant plot development. I recommend to give it a try. If you don't like first arc where MC shows sadistic streak, you can skip to later arcs, where he shows his different side.
