the main character trying to follow the main plot of the story, but as some of the reviews already said, the original Sword Saint didn't follow the plot so the MC had to "become the main character" in his stead.
[collapse]On the MC and Sword Saint relationship and spoilers on Sword Saint:SpoilerSo I MTL'ed this so my understanding might be wonky after the translation gets posted, but the Sword Saint was a good guy, in the later half he was portrayed as a betrayer, but we find out the truth at the end. The MC has to kill his/Julian's mentor and he sheds TEARS after. They had the same goal, but used different forms to achieve it.
[collapse]Also there is NO harem. No romance either.Misunderstandings:SpoilerThere's a recurring misunderstanding where one of the MC's Dawn Society followers (Pintel in MTL). He's super loyal to the MC but sometimes the MC acts a certain way and Pintel misunderstands to mean it as something else. It's always good for the MC though, but it's really funny to read; it continues to the end chapter too. Also some people do realize that MC is the Black Knight but either through misunderstandings or something else, they keep it to themselves.
[collapse]The novel is really fun and the MC's Spoilerbackstory/transmigration/family gets explained. The family dynamics are funny too. The middle-later parts of the story are really good.
[collapse]The plot thickens as you read more of the story and the worldbuilding is really good. Would recommend 10/10.
