I read up to and dropped at c13. I really wanted to like this - I generally enjoy stories with hidden identities or online identities, especially if there's romance between the two. But the storytelling is a mess with a lot of random things happening that aren't serious and not that funny either.

It starts in chapter 1 with a confession from MC to FMC right away, and he's rejected, but they stay as friends. He makes an online female persona, plays a shooting game, and the two online females become friends but don't realize its the other.

I like that premise just fine, and I wish it focused on that. But what I hated was the randomness, such as the focus on the side male friend and the antics that sprouted from that. The side friend confesses to a quiet girl in class, gets accepted, then she's stalker-ish/sadistic with the way she makes him run around or threatens him if he talks to other females. But their antics are just so extreme - he literally jumps out the 3rd floor window to escape her, and she follows. Later, the four all go to that sadistic girl's house to study, and there's trap doors that make the group split/fall and hints that her family has been stealing royal armor.

It just felt so unfocused and bizarre. I suppose its trying to go for a more comedic tone (there was also a karaoke scene where the MC singing with his male voice knocked out the two girls from how bad his singing was), and there are actually some slightly funny moments... but I would really prefer a more serious, romance-focused tone, and the jokes and such aren't that good or interesting.

A small side note, but the translation is rough in the beginning, but I skimmed ahead, and it does improve, so props to the translator.

But anyway, overall, I like the moments online between the MC and FMC just fine, as the FMC treats the MC as a "little sister" figure and game together (I skimmed ahead, and the two continue to hang out and such, and I do like some cute scenes), but I'd prefer to read a story that's stronger on the romance, more focused, and less random with its shenanigans.
