This is very much the hate > love trope. MC wakes up in a novel he read where the 'uke' was someone the canon fodder he is impersonating, killed. He legit wakes up at a funeral for the 'uke' but pretends to start crying and saying the 'uke' confessed to him. Now everyone believes that the 'uke' was in love with MC. 'Uke' is actually our ML who is an evil spirit with a SPOILER* ghost eating curse on his back. *Him and the MC go about trying to kill each other for about 50 chapters, the romance doesn't really hit till chapter 60 and the ML doesn't realize he's in love till ~120 chapters into this. And EVEN THEN ITS STILL LIKE "How can I make MC suffer but still let him know I love him." I'm legit losing touch with these two because this is such a sharp relationship. No soft points. All daggers. I'm on chapter ~132.... and it's getting kind of old having them try to make each other suffer. Also MC finds out that ML loves him and proceeds to mock him about it ANY CHANCE HE GETS. It makes sense, I would do the same thing too if someone killed me 18 times in my dreams.If you liked Thriller Trainee, I'd recommend this.
