4/5. This novel caught my eye somehow and I started reading it on a whim since there weren’t many ratings and reviews. I was quite apprehensive that it would be again a troupe of educated youth and farmers around preparing for college exams in 1977. But this truly came as a surprise as it did not really focus on it and the struggles for feeding children on daily basis since the whole story revolves around military.I would recommend reading this if you are looking for a romantic storyline supported with a good slice of life and fantasy genre. I wish the author could have written a longer ending once the final obstacle was crossed.
