Father, I Won’t Do Anything Chapter 105 Discussion

I really thought this would be an absolute favorite of mine but it let me down so much that now I can't see it in a good light.

I adored the first half of the book: Michael taking care of her immediately without even noticing was so cute. Their relationship healed me. SO PRECIOUS that my heart hurt. Hilvenzia too. Such a queen.

The point I started to get cold feet was when her fatherSpoiler

starting to regain his emotions, he assumed that she would be just happy to be accepted or be glad to have expensive gifts... BROTHER. You damaged her, how do you expect her to immediately see you as a father? But again, after living like dead for 13+ years I assume he just forgot basic human empathy.

I thought we'd get father-daugher moments but instead of that, we got a found-family. Which isn't the problem of course. The problem is the author forgot to write about them too. They had so little screen time in the last half of the book. Instead of those sweet moments, we have dress details and the random people who constantly compliment the FL. Ugh.

Also, the most important plot line was just thrown into the garbage in half a chapter:Spoiler

Giving this little to the dragon fight and dealing with a petty little professor chapters without end? The petty rom-com? The absolutely random academy move after the dragon's 10-second demise??

ML... At the start, he is just a kid who doesn't know what he likes. So he doesn't have much of a personality to be hated. BUT! IZREN IS THERE! He is such a perfect ML for her. Instead of that short-life human, why not choose a cute and respectful half-breed kitty?? Anyway, Michael and Rosian trying to separate Izren from FL was the last draw for me. They were so toxicly jealous too. Izren was her FAMILY! I lost all my love for the characters. She is being super dull about EVERYTHING around her as well.

She is aware that she changed the original timeline but still doubts her father that he will kill Princess Elia???? Bullshit.

I was going to point out some other logical errors too but I see that others did it before me already. Dropped at chapter 105, it wasn't just worth it to see the ending.
