Initially I really liked this one, but so much of the novel is filled with absolutely wasted potential.The crux of the story is the relationships between the MC and the people around her, but after the initial relationships form, there’s basically no evolution until the very end. I felt like rather than anything interesting happening, or exploring the emotions related to her loved ones, the story stood at a standstill for so long that I lost interest. Honestly, I would’ve dropped this had it not been close to ending anyway. Additionally, the end (when the plot actually develops) felt incredibly rushed.
