When you read the first chapter, it kinda throws you off, it makes you think its gonna be a wholesome romance between the heroine and the villain. But the Harem tag is not to be underestimated. Like 3 chapters in you get his servant and in another 20 or so another heroine to "fall in love" with him. They're all different tropes and its like he's collecting toys because he really doesn't dedicate time to any of them and its justified with their different sect beliefs. Its still a fun read, and I can't say it wasn't entertaining. There's no novel that's perfect but this is pretty close to 5 stars. Im not basing it on the originality, its a trope that's been done before (And by the same dude lmao), but rather how entertaining it is to me. The author keeps up with what the MC has and doesn't really disregard earlier items like some do. But it gets boring after a point because it just turns into the MC teasing a bunch of girls repeatedly and the story gets stuck. I mean there's only so many tropes. So I dropped at around 170. Still was fun tho
