Before I Died, I Forcibly Kissed The Heroine Chapter 15 Discussion

This novel got the generic cold perfect protagonist, the generic shoujo FL, the generic a*shole villain, and the generic harem with no personality.

The protagonist has zero personality. I'm literally 15 chapters in and I can't see anything that makes me want to remember his name and distinguish him from other characters.

The FL is your generic innocent "I don't know what love is" character. Besides that, she got no personality either.

The development between the FL and MC is too quick. It felt like the author skipped a whole bunch of detail between them. No, it's not just that the author skipped, he also skipped a whole lot more details in actions and the expression of emotions. For example, the MC and the FL goes from knowing each other in one chapter to acting all romantic and sweet and bitter in the next. Keep in mind the chapter isn't long either. Another example is that in chapter 8, the FL goes from crying in one sentence to suddenly stopping two short sentences latter. I feel like there should be a lot more development going into the thought processes of individuals to at least give them even a sliver of personality. Besides, with how fast the romance is going, I can't see any development in the future for the romance faction.

And the world building... there's no world building, or rather, the author didn't even try to make a world that have at least a little individuality when compared to other novels. We are introduced to the demonic sect and the righteous sect in the first 5 chapters, I think, but there is nothing that distinguishes them from each other. We didn't get any explanation on why the demonic sect is called the demonic sect, and no explanation on why the righteous sect is called the righteous sect.

There's also the villain, the villain is one of the most generic 'evil for no reason' villain I've seen. And how the villain goes is also tr*sh. The MC and the villain is on the same realm, but the MC absolutely dominates the villain. The MC got a mystical art and a holy grade talent, but the mystical art is a technique not something that raises your physics, and the holy grade talent is a talent for raising cultivation realms, so there is no explanation on how the MC is able to move behind the villain before the villain is knows. The author is just forcing the MC to be op at this point.

The author didn't think while writing this novel, and even if you searching for a brainless novel to read, there are still better brainless novels out there than this one, unless, of course, you ran out of them. By that time, you can probably read this, I guess?
