I actually didn't expect I'll love this story so much! I like the trope "reborn in another body" but somehow it often ends up being disappointing. Not here. I had an extremely good time with this book, enjoying it from the beginning to the end.

For one thing, it's pretty solid entertainment novel. The projects the characters work on are memorable. There are intrigues, fan interactions, also friendships and conflicts with other stars.

But what really carried the story for me were the MC, the ML and their relationship.

Oh, the MC is pure goodness! He was good in his first life, and he stays the same wonderfully good in the new life but now he has more resources and opportunities. And he really, really deserves it. He's cute and adorable, yes, but he's much more than that, naive and wise, strong and kind, loving and capable of step back if necessary. I totally admire him. Sometimes I felt so sad for him, because his relationship with the ML was not all cloudless. But the MC always got through, with his resilience, optimism and unconditional love.

The ML... is extremely complicated. Is he "good"? Is he "bad"? Everyone decides for themselves. One thing for sure, he is very deep. As the layers of his secrets kept being revealed, it never stopped surprising me. I liked him. He isn't blameless or faultless but - I understood him.

And how wonderfully cute they were together. They are truly each other's salvation, a perfect couple because either of them is exactly what the other needs.

And I can't help mentioning Tan Feiyang's big brother! He was fabulous, another extremely attractive character of this book.
