I’ll be honest—I’m really enjoying this one so far. The main character is definitely interesting, and all the side characters have their own quirks that make them so fun to read about. The way the protagonist teaches the kids and counsels them through their struggles is both heartfelt and entertaining. I even found myself laughing at moments that were probably meant to be serious for him, but that blend of humor and seriousness is part of what makes the story so enjoyable.

What makes this novel stand out is its twist on the typical regressor trope. Instead of reverting to his younger self, the main character keeps his current body and all the knowledge he’s gained. It’s refreshing to see him navigate the past with this unique perspective. But what really got me was how flawed and layered he is as a character. He’s carrying the immense weight of loss and regret while trying to change the future, and the story does a great job of showing how that affects him. He’s not a stereotypical overpowered hero—he’s human, and that’s what makes him so compelling.

If you’re into character-driven narratives, time travel, or the found family trope, I think this is definitely worth a read. The plot might feel a bit dense at times (I won’t lie, it can be a lot), but the emotional payoff and how rich the characters are more than make up for it. Stick with it—you won’t regret it.
