Absolutely Do Not Touch Eldmia Egga Chapter 16 Discussion

I have not read much of the novel as reading the mtl is really tough...

So, with what I have read I will try to give a general overview of the novel...

This is the story of Eldmia Egga, a reincarnator from Earth who reincarnated due to unfortunate circumstances. Living a hard life in his previous life, the protagonist tries to do his best in this new life of his even though he doesn't have many expectations due to his bad lot. And true to his expectations things turn for the worse for him really soon, just way worse than whatever he was able to expect in his worst nightmares. Village razed to the ground, everyone he could call his own dead, and all of that happened only after 8 years that he had reincarnated into this world. As one could imagine, it affected MC's already somber and apathetic mentality.

But he was able to find solace in the elf s*ave he had saved from a group of bandits early on in the story and made a deal with her to raise him up till he became an adult. And from that moment on he decided that no one would be able to cross him in the future and that became his driving force to gain unsurpassable strength in life. And that's where he adopts the moniker "Absolutely Do Not Touch Eldmia Egga" and puts it to use by decimating everyone that tries to say otherwise.

We can see that MC is really clinical and cold-blooded, killing anyone that crosses his path or tries to harm MCs loved ones. We also see the kindness that MC possesses within him as he saves those who are like him, left with nowhere to go and no one they could call their own. He makes them his own people and makes sure that no one crosses them as that inadvertently leads to crossing himself.

All in all, I see good potential in the novel and good plot progression going on even in the small number of chapters I have read. If we can ignore the relatively bad writing style of the author and purely focus on the journey of the MC then I believe reading this novel would be really worth your time. Don't know much about romance but seems promising as he naturally attracts others to himself with his charisma and kindness, even though he tries to portray himself as rough and unapproachable. Promising to become a very good novel with the progression.

I will try to make a better review once I have read more into the story. Hope the official translators can pump the chapters soon so that I don't need to read that accursed mtl, lol.
