I thought it's going to be some cute slice of life with a bit of adventure but it's not. The story seems to have only one major plot (and several subplots/cases that leads to msin plot) or villain and will probably have plotwists.However, I thought this is going be a case by case storytelling. It's not, as of chapter 37 the characters are still very busy doing their mission, always on the run. The relationship isn't progressing fast enough. I came here for a quick sugar fix. It'll probably take a long time to happen so I'm going to drop this for now and find some other less serious quick sugar books.Make no mistake, this is not a bad novel. It's more of an adventure, mystery, fantasy, and romance. Overall tone of the book is serious and depressing.I'm looking for something lighthearted right now so I'll probably come back once I'm in the mood.
