The first two chapters held a similar set-up to many of the Korean in-a-novel transmigration isekais that have been released in recent years. In spite of this familiarity, the characters and dialogue are presented in an accessible manner by Shy's excellent English translation. I find myself easily invested in the main character and her adorable son because that are characters I can relate to. This is in stark contrast to many novels I have had the unfortunate experience of reading several chapters of, where the main character comes off either as spoilt or disproportionately judgmental. Here's hoping that Rachel and little Graham's story continues to provide a relatable (and logical) continuation.
