The novel is interesting at first but quickly becomes an edge lord power fantasy. The protagonist, while having some mental growth and becoming more human as opposed to a cold assassin, faces no real challenges. I don't remember him ever loosing once in anything substantial in about 100 chapters. The protagonist is gifted too many things, the author constantly reminds us how he trains from morning to sundown but it all looses meaning because he is treated incredibly well and knows how to do essentially everything without any research, for example (no real spoilers here) :At some point in the story the protagonist will be made to attend what is essentially a military camp and will be assigned to a scouting unit, now let me remind you that in this new life of his he is a 14-15 year old kid that has essentially been out once or twice and should have no knowledge of scouting, killing difficult monsters,... So obviously the protagonist excels in absolutely everything, faces no real challenges, easily earns the respect of all his military peers and is a genius above all other geniuses.I don't see this novel getting better, its honestly just getting worse and worse the more you read it, it started off okayish but at this point its basically just boring gary sue shenanigans.
