Devil’s Warmth Chapter 5 Discussion

So far everything is great, the translation is great, the writing and plot flow are amazing. I know very much that the author mostly not an amateur.

The story is quite dark, the ML background is heartbreaking, I'm kinda terrified it will lead to aghast in the next plot, but I can't stop myself reading it.

the FL memories condition, what's the point you getting rebirth if you don't have the memory of your past, well but maybe the author has certain plan for this after all I only read up to this early chapter

*Edit : I've halt the reading at some point but will continue to read it again later. So far I understand how this story actually works. I would say that this is the story of the ML that being seen by the FL point of view. Very much everything actually works around the ML instead of FL, but that's fine, it gives me the "orenji" feeling and it's cool. Their relationship is really beautiful and cute, the push and back thing is relatable. The boy had a hell of a road on his journey and FL is his solemn salvation. Even more sad every time he felt unworthy of her he always bring himself deep in the darkness, he is selfish and selfless at the same time, what a poor child. At some point I also understand the author purpose to lock the FL memories, as perhaps the author want the focused of the story to be balanced while the plot can still move just in the right pace.

Also just want to add, many people dislike the ML for his personality but I suggest you to read this story carefully in case you missed it. The author through the FL has numerous time explain it with the scene or through the words, step by step, very throughly. Even the FL fail to understand him quite a lot of time then came to realization to why he does act like that. The author also explain for many side, from many characters, those who fail to understand him, those who don't bother to understand him, and those who finally able to understand him. The author has been very patiently explain and show it again and again but people just don't bother to understand it. At least as a reader who seen it from 3rd pov I felt so sad for those who still judge him so harshly like that.
