The author loves going off track and the characters, especially the MC, quickly start feeling one dimensional. Besides absurd scenarios, the author just wants to add tragedy for the sake of it, none of the tragedy is well throughout. Feels akin to the author trying to throw a pity party for the MC, look how pitiful she is. Would've worked if the actions and thoughts of those causing all the tragedy wasn't s*upid to the point of ret*rdation. Can see why this was dropped by the translators
