Yes this story has a typical murim plot but the characters have a great motivation and the way the ideals clash in fights is fun.

Honestly if you want to read a murim novel with a solid basic plot and want to enjoy yourself without thinking too hard it's great. Even with flaws it's alright. Slightly above average of you will.
