I like these type of possessive ml's most of the time but in this story I feel the characters both MC and ML are very flat.

I can't think of anything I like about our MC - Shen Yu, he is only focused on Tang Li and sometimes (?) his bakery. I feel he's kinda useless

ML is very young, he is hardworking but he's a big fat liar. He hides almost everything about his life and keeps lying to gain pity form our MC.

Tbh I also felt little bit annoyed bc of his possessiveness in some early chapters.
