This is a heartwarming story about a woman's second chance at happiness and family. So far, no dog's blood drama.Her first life ends with sadness, but not bitter hate. However, her "cheat" appears and grants her a new life. Sounds pretty common, but the twist is that the "cheat" is not a wish granting fairy. It's a spoiled brat because it's an very powerful creature. Thus, her new life is hard is new ways, especially poverty, illnesses, and a magical brat. It's not cute until it is cute. I don't know why I like it now, but I really do. (Most of the time... it's such a little brat) What makes this a worthwhile read? The complicated but loving family she joins. None of them are perfect people, but each person in the household genuinely cares for each other. The development of her relationship with each character, especially her adopted son, is what I look forward to with each chapter.She does use her knowledge of fashion and cooking to help her family. Fortunately, the author doesn't make that and easy path. Every advantage she can use is tempered with complications that are realistic and difficult to navigate. Her actions have consequences and she learns to adapt to her limitations.One sentence summary: "Transmigrating into ancient China because of a spoiled magical brat... majestic creature of good fortune, and getting a second chance at having a loving family."
