The plot of this novel is not any rocket science, but the characters are truly likeable and this is the major selling point. The author understands that human thoughts are not usually black and white, that people grow under adversity and that they change, both their minds and their feelings. Different people, different upbringings and inner nature, experiences and agendas, there's no same character thus far. The pacing of their development is also reasonable.

It feels like I'm not doing it enough justice by summarizing it like that, but there's really nothing else that stands out in my opinion.

However, one thing worth mentioning is that the pacing of this story is extremely slow, specially during scandals. On one hand it allows the author to spin many plates at the same time, which he does and never forgets a plot development. But on the other hand, the character development and personal interactions are so much more interesting than everything else, that it gets straight up annoying that it doesn't get more focus. For instance, I believe the author completely missed the point of writing netizen opinion. It feels good to share your excitement with someone, and watching the netizens talk gives you the feeling of being a lurker in chat, which is close enough to it. But you only talk about it until the next development, there's no other reason to keep searching and this is what it feels like I'm doing at some point: scavenging for a particularly witty or educated comment, which is rarely the case. Talk about a chore I don't feel like doing.

I'll give 5 stars for the enjoyment however, even by skipping like mad I still liked the developments up to now, and the translations are good.
