Currently I have MTL-ed the story to the 100th chapter. The plot of this novel is that Liu Man transmigrates into the future 2000+ years, and with her skills/talents she developed as the past Cold Palace's princess embarks on the road to making money/becoming a super star.Things I've liked/Seen other people liked:-Liu Man. As someone who was essentially a forgotten princess it's nice to see Liu Man enter this world and enjoy life like she was never allowed to in the past. There's some interesting bits about practices of the Han Dynasty and values that she applies to the modern era. However she isn't too disillusioned by this time due to sharing memories with the o.g. Liu Man. The o.g. Liu Man Spoiler
actually transmigrates into Liu Man's old bidy and becomes the empress. That's what she explained to her parents in a dream.. the mother being accepting after a while although the Dad on the other hand is a a**hole who kept referring to Liu Man as a fake...:/
[collapse]-The characters feel quite real. They are all people with their own motivations and different projections in life. Some people that you may end up disliking at first, can grow in the future.-Live-Streaming/Other talents Liu Man has. These aspects are quite enjoyable and I like that she has such a broad range of talents but isn't too OP. Take for instance that although she may be very talented in folktale instruments, she's not an automatic master at the piano.Things I'm not a huge fan of (personally) :-Despite me saying that I like the realistic characters.... it can get a bit annoying for the "villains."Examples:Spoiler-In recent arc, MC stars in a movie and the rival of the 2nd ML (well at least that's what he is at the moment) gropes the MC bc he saw a bit of her underwear outline and as the author described "was thinking with manly physical instinct" (tf is that >: () but the only punishment he gets is rumors across the crew that varnish his reputation a bit. :/
-MC gets targetted repeatedly bc of doing things in association with others or jealously.
[collapse]I had to skip a bit of sections sometimes since I got so annoyed.Right now I'm not sure if I'll continue reading since it does have a whopping 1250 chapters. I'm sure it'll be a fun ride with her path to stardom but my interest for completing this is not that high atm.Its a 4/5 star for me. If the pros appeal to you and you're not as easily annoyed as I am lol you'll surely have fun.
