This novel is a decent read, not too much drama that would grip you by the edge, not too much dogblood that'd make you question humanity's morale. The romance is straightforward, the plot is also straightforward. The characters are fine, I have my own favourites- a testament of good intuition in character writing from the author. But there are some moments that I question the story. It was all over the place, but subtly so, you won't feel like you're going insane if you read it, but still a bit all over the place.

The author did well in making the FL solved all her problems by herself, not even a lift of ML's finger was used. She always solved it herself with her straightforward-ness, sincerity, and popularity. This novel IS good, but lacked charm. In a week, I'm afraid I'll entirely forget about this novel. Everything is too smooth? The problem solving is also very smooth.

Also there's one part that I dislike is that how easily the MC forgave her supposed teammate for abandoning her and her roommate at a critical juncture of performance exam. Which is ridiculously looked down upon in music world. Trust me, if you don't turn up for your team concert or break your promise to perform with a fellow musician, you should stop dreaming of becoming professional musician. Especially if you're an adult. I hate it that she forgave that character easily.

I don't think this novel can be tagged as 'Comedy'??? It certainly doesn't feel like so. I barely laughed. In fact, I don't think there's any scene in the novel that was meant for laughter? The narration was good, but as I have said, it lacked charms that grip you. So to correct the tag, this is certainly not a Comedy. I didn't laugh. And I easily laughed over the s*upidest thing.

All in all, this novel is a decent read. I have some complaints of some choices the author made because it made no sense to the plot aside for the sake of cough, cough, tearing a family apart. (You'll know when you read it) but tbf, I skipped those boring chapters. Because, again, the more you read this novel, the more you'll find yourself drifting off, because everything is too smooth, even some conflicts didn't feel like conflicts. However, I have no heart in giving it bad review because it's truly a well-written novel. Not great. But something you can read when you're bored.
