I understand that this is something that probably exists in the concept of metaphysics in Chinese maybe history or something, but I don't like it. I think it's influenced by misogyny. Yeah it basically has that concept of just because a girl fools around with guys and had an abortion then she's immoral and she's going to suffer karma. Basically anti-abortion rhetoric. It actually appears quite often in these types of metaphysic novels in modern day but It usually doesn't appear that early so I can ignore it but kind of annoying that it appeared within like the first 10 chapters. I do accept some novels that do this only because they make the character extremely bad like they did something really immoral like they make the situation very extreme or something and I kind of let It Go but yeah. It's just kind of annoying. To see this right now.Dnf. I can forgive a lot because I know this is a low standard and low bar book. It reads very much as every you know stereotypical face slapping Chinese book. So there is some sense of enjoyment you can get out of that so I did continue reading. But personally my entertainment dries up anytime they have to do a variety show. Like this girl didn't even go to college yet and yet we are forced to watch her do a variety show that's just a glorified divination/ spiritual arts live stream solving people's problems. I have to tell you. I have read a lot of supernatural divination books especially the Chinese ones. It's because I usually like it. But there is a particular genre within it that I really don't like. And it is when the Fortune teller is a live streamer. Because I have to tell you it is the most boring shit. It just is like story after story and even if this isn't the case here and it might just be a one-off thing... They instantly lost me once they started doing this. It's just so boring to read
