It's an unpopular opinion I know but I guess this story is just not my cup of tea.While I agree that the main character is funny, I just hate it how she just complies with everything Rue says and Rue just seriously gets on my nerve.I'm guessing there must be some kind of reason for his behavior but he just really annoys me. Constantly belittling her by likening her to a dog or patronizing her intelligence. Not to mention that he is so powerful that it overshadows much of her accomplishments and robs her of the opportunity to get the upperhand. And then he just blocks her off everytime she is about to get some information by either shutting people up with his power or causing distractions and then he himself refuses to give her any real information.I get it that he does come to save her at times but the fact that he constanty keeps her in the dark about most things and then her lack of rebellion and her meek obedience whenever he orders her around just infuriates me. I don't know maybe there is a very justified reason for all that but for the sake of my blood pressure I think I'll just stop here.
