Very simple novel, with lots of cliches and bad writing, and the humor is something only 5 years old would find funny.

Lots of stuff never gets explained, like exactly how magic works (like the MC barrier, exactly what do people see? A giant dome over their heads? A transparent wall? How does it handles stuff like rain?), what people are saying/doing with their family/friends getting killed by the hundreds, etc.

Only really recommended if you have nothing else to read, and I would really recommend just to re-read your favorite novel instead
