Song Yunhui is a very likeable character. He is super smart and capable, but he also has a very childlike innocence and demeanor. I like it when characters decisively cut off toxic characters.The ML is disappointing. The furthest he can go is holding hands. It took 200+ chapters to confirm their relationship & it's because MC's initiated the conversation.I don't know whether to blame the plot for controlling the antagonists. Maybe for Zhong Xu (MC's ex-crush). But it seems the Song family were already bastards looking for an excuse to assuage their guilt. They played right into Xu Wei's hands. Reading about them is depressing though because of plot Vs conscious debate.
